So basically I went to this sled dog meetup with Cassie. In front of us we had to other women also riding bikes with dogs in front pulling them. I was currently right behind them with Cassie, and she was pulling hard to catch up. The problem was that is was vey dark, since we were in the middle of the woods. I had a headlight, but I was still nervouse cause the road had alot of rainpitt holes in it. I don’t know if it was a hole in the road, or if were were getting too close to the others that made me get nervous. Most likely a bit of both. Regardless; I hit the front brakes very hard and ended up flying over the bike. The two other people in front of us didn’t realize I fell, so I was on my own.
For a moment I felt stunned and couldn’t move. But a few seconds later I got up and tried to move. I had a small headache and my left arm was hurting a bit. I also felt that my lip was sore, but for some reason I had not yet realized that my tooth was chipped.
The front part of my bike was a bit fucked, so the wheel didnt go straight. Luckily I had a repair set on me and I was able to fix it. Then I slowly made my way back to where the camp was, and on the way there I realized there was something wrong with on of my front teeth. I tried to continue to keep my calm, since I knew there was no reason to panic. I simply had to get back to my car and get back home. And I was shocked at how calm I was able to stay. I guess I have leveled up my logical thinking a bit. Just a year ago I would have ended up in a panic attack.
