Protein oatmeal with milk

Oatmeal with milk, protein powder, cinnamon and margarine. One of my favorite breakfast!

Ingredients

The oatmeal

  • 50 g oats
  • 2,5 dl milk (0,5% fat)
  • 30 g protein powder ( 118 kcal – 21,6g protein) – I use “Proteinfabrikken”

On top

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 10 g light margarine
  • Sukrin or other “fake sugar”  with no calories

Method

  1. Cook the oats and the milk till it’s thick enough.
  2. Mix the protein powder in with the oatmeal.
  3. Pour the oatmeal on a plate and put the cinnamon, fake sugar and margarine on top. I like to seperate my margarine in several small portions and spread them all over the oatmeal, not just in the middle.

Tip: Use fruits or berries to make this even better (not included in this recipe)!
